The "Red flag with a yellow star" was first appeared in 1940.
The red symbolizes revolution and blood. The star represents five main classes in Vietnamese society including intellectuals, farmers, workers, businessman and militaries.

Vietnam Standard Time is 7 hours ahead of Greenwich Mean Time (GMT+7).
Vietnam does not operate Daylight-Saving Time.

Entry requirements

Required a valid passport for three months or more upon departure date .
Visa is not required in principle if you stay within 15 days.

※A visa is required if you stay for 16 days or longer. It can be applied at The Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam or the Consulate.
It's possible to stay in Vietnam for one month with a tourist visa.
