The Marunouchi Shuttle is a free shuttle bus that describes a loop of 13 stops around the Marunouchi area from 10am to 8pm. The shorter Otemachi route with 6 stops operates from 8am-10pm. Stops on the Marunouchi Shuttle eco-bus include Yusen Biru, Marunouchi My Plaza, Tokyo Kaikan, Daiichi Seimei, Hibiya, Shinkokusai Biru, Mitsubishi Biru, Shinmaru Biru, Tokyo Sankei Biru, Nikkei Biru, Keidanren Kaiken JA Biru, and Yomiuri Shimbun.
The shuttle leaves every 15 minutes. Operating 7 days a week.
[Weekdays] 8:00–20:00: Only the Otemachi routes operate in the morning
[Weekends and public holidays] 10:00–20:00
Buses may be delayed due to traffic conditions.
"Shinmaru building " is the closest bus stop from Tokyo station.
The Marunouchi building(Marubiru) opened in 2002 just in front of Tokyo Station, it is one of the districts landmark buildings. The top two floors (35 and 36) offer nice restaurants with a view over the city.
Kokyogaien National Gardens were first opened to public as the National Gardens in 1949. Prior to this date, the National Gardens were part of the Imperial Palace grounds.In the Garden Plaza approximately 2,000 Japanese Black Pines are planted in the lawn area. These pine trees blend in very well with the "Yaguras"(old watch towers) and gates, and also with the several moats which are all remnant of Edo Castle. This area has become very popular with the people of Japan.
Meiji Seimei Kan is a building in Marunouchi, Tokyo, Japan. It was designed by Shinichiro Okada and completed in March 1934. During the Shōwa period, its metal fittings were requisitioned by the government of Japan. It survived the bombing of Tokyo during World War II, but was taken over by the General Headquarters / Supreme Commander for the Allied Powers after the war. It was returned to the government of Japan in 1956. In 1997, this building was designated a National Important Cultural Property. It was the first building erected in the Showa period to receive this honour.
