very popular YOHSHOKU(Japanese-adapted Western food) restaurant!

Seiyouken was established in 1872. This is a Yohshoku restaurant. "Yoshoku" is the name given to dishes influenced by Western styles of cooking but developed independently in Japan. There are some kind of Western food on the menu. Especially "Hayashi Rice" is the most famous and popular in this restaurant.
(Hayashi rice:Rice topped with a sauce made from demi-glace; similar to Russian beef Stroganoff.)
