Hozenji Yokocho is hidden awash in the back streets of Namba

Hozenji Yokocho is hidden awash in the back streets of Namba, and its na grow lanes, old shops and stone-paved streets recall a apart Osaka that has almost disappeared completely, swallowed by rapid urban develop, end. Hozenji Yokocho was originally made famous by Osakan novelist Oda Sakunosuke's celebrated novel Meoto Zenzai, publish in 1940. Hozenji Temple, after which the area is named, is a samall but captivation temple dedicated to Amitabha. This temple is famous for its mizukake fudo, a moss-covered to Buddhist statue that visitors throw water on when praying. It is sad that women in the night trade go here before heading odd to work, although you will mostly encounter visitors from the neighborhood and tourists. There are also a number of cozy cafes nearby. Drop bt huge for a truly local experience.
