Bathe yourself in the rural atmosphere of Saga-Arashiyama, a short train ride from Kyoto.

With Mt. Arashiyama as the backdrop, take a morning walk through the Sagano Bamboo Grove, visiting Zen temples along the way. One of them, Tenryuji, is considered Kyoto’s best Zen temple. Marvel at Togetsu Bridge, Saga-Arashiyama’s landmark, and visit the many shops and cafes in the area. This tour is especially good during cherry blossom season and in the autumn.

◇Tenryu-ji Temple (30 min)
Tenryu-ji Temple is a world heritage zen temple located in Saga-Arashiyama, the famous sightseeing town in Kyoto. The Japanese garden benefits from the beautiful landscapes of Arashiyama, and has been registered in Special Places of Scenic Beauty.
◇Jojakko-ji Temple (30 min)
The temple overlooks the town of Sagano and the city of Kyoto. It is famous for the beautiful colored leaves covering the entire mountain.
◇Togetsu-kyo Bridge (30 min)
Togetsu-kyo Bridge is a famous bridge in Arashiyama, from which you can find the beautiful sceneries of cherry blossoms or colored leaves.
◇Yakatabune Boat Boarding Pier (60 min)
Remarks: If the boat cannot be boarded due to high water levels or other operational concerns on the lunch-included tour, lunch will be served at a restaurant instead. In this case JPY 2,000 per person will be refunded.
