American businessman, Jim Thompson who was born Delaware of America in 1906 established Thai silk company in Bangkok.

This is the house where he lived in for eight years from 1959 through 1967.
He was not only competent manager but also avid collector of Asian art and cultural heritage. However, at the height of his success, he mysteriously disappeared into the Malaysian jungle in 1967.
Thus it was that the legacy of Jim Thompson as museum which one of key spot for tourist in Thailand. If you visit there, you will enjoy to see beautiful house and garden and asian objets which transported from Thailand, Burma, Cambodia and Laos.
