Elegant gardens are relaxing places for everyone!

The gardens in the Principality is cared neatly everywhere. Neither trash nor papers in the paths except plants and trees. They are very vivacious and elegant, then they welcome you decently. You can enjoy also splendid panoramic views of coast where come out from each part of garden, because they are located in fortuned places where show you the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. Many gardens are entrance-free and always open until susnset. Why don't you breathe bel-air after shopping or fabulous entertainments!

Princess Antoinette Park

Its majestic entrance is decorated with a spectacular curtain of Bougainvilleas, and opens the "door" to Monaco's "kingdom" of the sacred olive tree. This naturally beautiful site was probably the place for Sunday gatherings and get-togethers for Monaco's ancestors; it has since become an amusement park dedicated to garden lovers and children of all ages.

Casino Gardens and Terraces

The gardens outside the Monte-Carlo Casino are some of the most beautiful and well kept in Monaco. Wonderfully landscaped, not a blade of grass or flower is out of place in this magical series of gardens, complete with ponds and fountains. To the rear of the casino are the world famous terraces, on which locals and tourists alike relax and marvel at the splendour of the nearby architecture and the panoramic views of the coast.

St Martin Gardens

These gardens, with a rich display of exotic species and where small paths weave gently around the grassy ridges, bloom throughout the year on the south-west face of the "Rock". The sunny Mediterranean climate provides a thriving environment for the wild local flora and scattered here and there, classic works of art or a clear little pond may be discovered.

Fontvieille Park and the Princess Grace Rose Garden

Featuring a small lake bordered by palms and olive trees, and laid out over almost four hectares, this charming green space in the Fontvieille district is where you will discover many over-sized contemporary sculptures. The nearby Princess Grace Rose Garden is an oasis of calm and serenity where the scent of some 4,000 roses perfumes the air.

Japanese Garden

A stylized replica of the great outdoors, with its mountain, hill, waterfall, beach and brook, this surprising 7000 m2 park is an authentic work of art created by respecting the strictest principles of the Zen concept of compactness.
An exceptional park at the foot of the city, this eastern garden is touched by a particular atmosphere, harmoniously combining stone, water and vegetation.
