This garden is dedicated to Princess Grace, who died from car-accident in 1982, by his husband Prince Ranier III. The Fontvieille Park and the Princess Grace Rose Garden are two municipal parks in the Fontvieille. The parks are a combined 4 hectares in size, and 4000 roses belonging to 500 specimens are blooming splendidly. Grace is commemorated in a statue by Kees Verkade in the rose garden and
the park features a sculpture trail, notable pieces include Cavalleria Eroica by Arman, and a clenched fist by César.
