An Italian Bistro in the old streets of Monaco

U Cavagnetu (it means “picnic basket” in the local dialect). It's located in the very narrow Street where is easy to access to some of main sightseeing spots. The restaurant purveys specialities Monegasques such as barbajuan, “Uncle John” in the local dialect, is a sort of big ravioli stuffed with vegetables, egg and herbs, then fried, and pissaladière (Pizza-style tart with onions, anchovies and olives, but no tomato). It’s also frequented and crowded, so you'd better reserve in advance.
