It is the official residence of the Spanish Royal Family at the city of Madrid. But the Royal Family do not reside in the palace and is only used for state ceremonies now. It is s a central plaza in Madrid. It was built during King of Spain and Portugal, Philip III's, reign (1598–1621). There were fires three times around the plaza in past. On each occasion, this plaza were rebuilt. Now the Plaza Mayor is a major tourist attraction, visited by thousands of tourists a year.
It takes a few min walk from here to next destination.

It is the oldest and most popular open-air markets in Madrid. It is held every Sunday and public holiday. There are over 1,000 stallholders and street sellers on main street. You will be able to find a great variety of new and used products.

To next destination
It takes about 8 min.
Take the train of line 5 at La Latina Metro station. Chenge your train to line 2 at Opera station. Take off the train at Retiro Station.

It is the most popular and the largest park park in Madrid. It has 1.4 km 2 (350 acres) at the edge of the city center. It is known as there is a Satan statue that the only one in the world. And there are two museum in the park: "Palacio de Velázquez" and "Palacio de Cristal". You are able to see temporary exhibitions.

To next destination
If you take the train at Retiro Metro Station, it takes about 22 min. So it is better to take the train at Madrid - Atocha Cercanias Metro Station. It take about 8 min walk from here to the station.

[15:00~]F:Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia

It is national museum of 20th century art opened 1990. The museum has mainly Spanish art like, Pablo Picasso and Salvador Dalí. The highlight is the 20th century's most famous painting, Picasso's "Guernica" that painted about Spanish Civil War.
It takes about 11 min walk from here to next destination.
