The Royal Family do not reside in the palace now. It was built during the 18th and 19th centuries. But it was completely destroyed by a fire in 1734. For this reason, it is says more than 500 masterpiece burned down. It was rebuilt between 1738 and 1755. There were a lot of twists and turns to the story,but it is still important figures of Spanish history and culture. The Palace is now used for award ceremonies, royal audiences and banquets and important event. But you willbe exposed to traditional Spanish culture.
