This church is is the most important church built by Jesuits in Naples. It was originally a palace built for the first prince of Salerno ,Roberto Sanseverino, in 1470. But his family sold it to the Jesuits. After that the Jesuits refurbished the church form 1584 to 1601.
The church facade is a the Italian Renaissance style. Exterior wall is simple but interior decoration is gorgeously and luxuriously. You are able to see the fresco "The Expulsion of Heliodorus from the Temple".
