It is a Roman Catholic cathedral, the main church of Naples, southern Italy, and the seat of the Archbishop of Naples. This cathedral was founded in the 4th century on the site of a Greek temple dedicated to Apollo.
The right aisle of the nave is the Chapel of St. Januarius built in 16th century. The chapel also functions as the cathedral treasury and is elaborately decorated with Baroque art.
You are able to see historic interior and artworks in there.
It is composed of art works and donations collected in seven centuries of Popes, Kings, Emperors, famous and ordinary people, kept in a museum in Naples.
