Let's look at the life of Ho Chi Minh in his later years. You will understand why he gained the trust and love from people.

Within the grounds of the Presidential Palace, there is a simple wooden house on stilts which is surrounded by gardens, towering trees and a small lake.

The jasmine tree in front of the house and carps in the pond were grown and looked after by Ho Chi Minh himself.
Uncle Ho lived and worked here, instead of the Presidential Palace itself, from 1958 until his final days (1969).
It was a spot that Ho Chi Minh felt so close.
This frugal house is a symbol of his simplicity and gentleness that gained the trust and love from people.
Although many tourists come to visit, the site preserves a quiet atmosphere.
