The vestiges of the old capital of Vietnam during the Ly , Tran, Le dynasties.

The central sector of the imperial citadel includes relics in Hanoi Citadels and an interesting archaeological area at 18 Hoang Dieu Street.
The citadel was constructed in 1010 and finished in early 1011. In 2010, Central Sector of the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long was recognized as the World Heritage Site of Vietnam.
It is considered as "a live historical set" attached with 10-century history of Thang Long.
Visitors can see layers of culture through different historical periods through vestiges of foundations, roads, wells, ponds, and so on.
Many interesting excavated items such as pottery are on display.
