Pretty Christmas figurines made of clay

This is an unique museum which displays a best and biggest collection of the traditional Christmas figurines "santons" from Provence. You can watch over 2000 santons of all sizes. 95 different santon makers display their work, from the beginning of the century to the present day. 60 crèche scenes, the old trades, little villages, scenes from Pagnol representing Provence and its traditions. It's interesting to admire the smallest crib in the world with Guiness record (39 santons in a nutshell)! And more, 22 santon makers of over 100 from throughout Provence have won the Gold Medal for "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" (Master Craftsman award). You can also watch them being made or buy one at the giftshop. It's very fun!
