Heart of the Phnom Penh Commercial District.

The market was built during the Sihanouk reign, and renovations took place from 2009 until completed quite recently.
The shape of the dome is a unique for a market.

Located in the center of Phnom Penh, the market is also the iconic commercial building in the district.
A wide range of products, including clothing, groceries, and items such as precious metals are sold. Good souvenirs may be found here.
Many fake branded goods are also sold.
Because it is a place attracting many tourists, English is commonly spoken here.

There is a long-distance bus station across the street, which services places such as Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap.
