Historical and political centre of Barcelona

The Plaça de Sant Jaume is a square at the center of the Old City of Barcelona. The square is the site of the most important buildings in the lives of Barcelona and Catalonia: City Hall and the Palau de la Generalitat. There is the festival "La Mercè" on every September in the square. You can see "castell" which is a human tower in the festival .
