Symbol of Barcelona

Botero’s Cat is sculpture and symbol of Barcelona. It designed by a figurative artist, Fernando Botero. Barcelona City Council purchased it in 1987. From then the cat went to trip to find own home until 2003. His first stop-off point was the Parc de la Ciutadella (Ciutadella square). Then he was taken to a site by the Olympic Stadium, and a few years later he was put in a little square behind Barcelona’s medieval shipyards. Finally, in 2003, the cat found own home at Rambla del Raval street. since then, it is nice point to take a photo and for meeting place.
