Kaizando was first built in 1644, however, today's building was the one reconstructed in 1993. This temple was and has been famous with its name, "ryo daishi" among the people. After this place was used for praying for the safe birth of the Tokugawa's 4th shogun, it has been worshiped for blessing children.
