Heavenly place with nature, entertainments and culture

France has two important places where tourists visit endlessly from every part of the world. They are Paris and the South of France. Since the past, many European people moved in the South of France to escape the harsh cold winter; in Provence. As this territory is blessed with good climate throuth the year, agriculture is richly developed with various products of cultivation such as flowers (lavender, popy and sunflower) following citrus, olive and vineyard. Today, in this marvelous environments, Marseille, Nice and Avignon are principal cities of Provence and the Cote d'Azur. They fascinate people throuth their histories and activities. Bright sunshine in the summer invites many people every year. Everyone can enjoy here visit, food, shopping, art, sport etc. Provence, loved by many great painters, promises memorable vacance to you!

① Nice

Nice is an active and historical city. Enjoy shopping at mega shopping center or strolling in the flower market at Old Nice! After passing through lively Masséna Square, relax on the Promenade des Anglais or enjoy landscape from Castle Hill!

② Cagne-sur-Mer

This small town is located close to Nice. This place is also famous for Renoir Museum which stands in the farm he bought. Its surrounding could be a good work itself. You can trace his works and life here.

③ Antibes

Antibes is a resort town. It's located in the joint of small peninsula. Exploring narrow streets, regional shops and restaurants along them, you go tanning yourselves on the Garoupe beach where Fitzgerald and Murphy frequented. Don't miss Picasso Museum at Grimaldi Castle. It houses paintings and ceramics of the painter.

④ Cannes

Cannes is tiny city, but is very glamourous and famous especially for annual film festival where to party on la Croisetteto. High class hotels and finest boutiques excite visitors all the year. Relax yourselves on the glorious sandy beach!

⑤ Marseille

Marseille is proud of its long history. On the other hand, this modern city continues to depelope as a center of city in the Mediterranean. Museums, historical architectures and sport activities, which entertainment do you prefer?

⑥ Saint-Rémy-de-Provence

This pretty town is located in the beautiful landscape of plains at the northern edge of the Alpilles, 20 km south of Avignon. This is where Van Gogh was admitted to Saint-Paul hospital and painted Starry Night. Nostradamus was born and Dr Albert Schweitzer was prisoner here.

⑦ Aix-en-Provence

This chic village fascinats visitors with its leafy streets and 17th and 18th-century mansions. This is where Paul Cezanne was born and preserves his house as "Atelier Cezanne", which is open to the public.

⑧ Avignon

This papal town was lived by 7 popes over 100 years. It has many historcal monuments to admire. The famous Avignon bridge is one of symbols of this town. Let' sing this traditional French song "On the bridge of Avignon"!
